August 04, 2004Fight the Power!Jaeger at Trudeaupia has alerted me to a protest scheduled for 2:00 on Tuesday, August 10th on Parliament Hill to support CHOI in Québec. The closing of this radio station is a perfect example of the petty, paternalistic, "we know what's best for you" attitude of the self-imagined intellectual 'elites' in this country. Thank you for the support and for spreading the word. There is already 30 busses full coming to Ottawa from Québec city. More are getting organized. If english canadian comes too, it'll just amplify the message and try to force the government to do something about this. It's unacceptable to be told what we can or cannot hear and say.
